Spinelli Forum 2025

For the fifth time, the German-Italian Young Leaders Dialogue – Spinelli Forum 2025 offers the next generation of German and Italian future leaders a unique opportunity to work on current challenges in different European policy sectors, and discuss the respective role of the German-Italian partnership in them. The Spinelli Forum is a joint initiative by the Federal Foreign Office in Germany and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in partnership with the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) and the German Institut für Europäische Politik (IEP).

We welcome applications from young professionals aged 25–35 with demonstrated interest or expertise in European affairs. Applicants from Germany and Italy working in politics, business, academia, civil society, media, and culture are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to strong applicants aged 25 to 30.

The Spinelli Forum 2025 consists of three digital workshops and one final conference, which will be held in Berlin on 27-28 October 2025. Please see the Call for Applications below for further information.

Participants will join one of the following working Groups:

  • European Defence and Security Policy
  • European Economic Growth and Social Cohesion
  • European Climate and Energy Policy
  • European Artificial Intelligence Regulation and Governance
